There's this article (item no. 1) in the Laporte Report where a student was fined $15,000 dollars by the Norwegian supreme court for linking to illegal music downloads. I think the judges can't distinguish between linking to data compared to having and distributing the data.
I must agree that this is a very scary precedent for someone like me who only show you links to rom sites but not actually having the roms. Just goes to prove that getting through 4 years of law school doesn't make you any less of a jack-ass.
